Message from the Chief

Thank you for visiting us. Whether searching for information, looking at some of our recent or major incidents, or just surfing for interesting sites I hope you find our location of value and interest. The Town of Turtle Fire Department is made up of a group of dedicated and talented volunteer firefighters providing services to the citizens and visitors to our community. We operate a fleet of six apparatus to serve the needs of our community and to provide support to our neighbors. Our core operating philosophy is: We are an asset of our community, an asset that our citizens invest in every year through their tax dollars.  An investment on which they hope never to take a return on but, if they do need our services, we will be there for them in any way that we can. Our Department's goal is to deliver our service in a safe, timely and well trained fashion. We strive to respond anywhere in our 42 square mile response area with the depth and knowledge needed to safely deal with whatever situation presents itself. In cooperation neighboring departments, we are also part of an automatic aid response program (known as MABAS) that has added vital depth to every full structure response in our communitie.
